Desert Island Crafters

Good morning!! This fortnight we are sponsoring the Desert Island Crafters challenge!! Hop on over and have a look at this fun challenge and why not join on in!! Hello everyone... Today I am excited to reveal that I have something new in the store...  I don't know about you but I have fond childhood memories of playing with paper dolls and so I have created....

Digital files of Paper dolls.... which you can print and colour and cut then use them on projects or even give them away as gifts :D

Here are all the Dolls... printed, coloured and cut out...

Oh .... and like all paperdolls you can dress them up in a number of different outfits... There are currently 2 girl and 2 boy outfits BUT I will do some more SOON! :)

I had a little naming game on facebook and so from left to right these characters are:
Rhys, Pippi, Taya, Ryan, Archie and Brianna
 the original name suggesters will receive an original paper doll!!

Below is another project I have created... which shows the versatility of the images...as you can see you can print onto different patterned paper and paperpiece the dolls to create your own character

So many options....  I added the images to my Silhouette software and traced them to create cut files.. and so I just  print and cut them on my cameo ... which is of course much EASIER than fussy cutting ... but I have also fussy cut some of them and it's not too horrible! lol! I will not be selling the dot studio files on my site as it's not allowed but I am looking into how to make them available as other cut files. Watch this space!

One more thing I will be offering soon... is I will sell the Paperdolls as completed projects... so if you are not the crafty type but like the idea then you can still purchase them for yourself or some young children in your life! :D I think I will have to send a few to some young kidlets I know and see how they like them! tee hee!! This is Taya printed out and then cut on the Cameo.... she is almost A4 size!!

a Great Show

We went to the Show last week and had a great time meeting new people and seeing old customers and friends too!! Here are a couple of pictures from the show... First up is the stand... it was a bit of a surprise to turn up and have the stand much bigger than we expected.. the stand next to us didn't end up coming so we got their space too... It did mean we had more room to move about which was lovely! Although seeing as we have been in clearout Copic and Stamp mode we didn't have an enornmous amount to SPREAD out!

The lovely Gin is demo'ing here and Graham (my wonderful Dad) is at the till! BIG thanks to both of you for your help with the show! Made things heaps more manageable for me :D And also to my DH, Guy who I could not have done anything without!! :D

Here (below) is the display tree... the images on the leaves were stamps we still had available to buy.... Yes we do still have  a few stamps left so will be working out what to do with those SOON! :) Might have to have a few giveaways! :D

Whilst we confused many people with the announcement we were closing and then still being here in one form we are pushing forward with our resources and Digital stamps, so we no longer sell Copics... just how to use them and inspirational magazines as well as fun and cute images to print and colour!

This NEW (plastic comb bound) book was launched at the show... and is available in PDF now in the store.. and will also be available as a Hardcopy NEXT week ...

POSTCARDS from Sammi - Mad for Markers

I have decided to try something new... I have printed up a bunch of prints... postcard size of my Autumn fairy - April... the back side contains a listing of all the Copics used... nifty huh! :D

And Then I thought how fun would it be to post them in the mail... and the brain kept on turning and so I've come up with the idea of not only selling the prints but offering a POSTCARD Subscription.... So a new image each month! :D

I'm just loading up the items in the store now... so if you'd like a postcard hop on over and sign on up :D I will have these available at the PENRITH PAPERCRAFTS SHOW this weekend!! Hope to see you there!!

I've been working on a NEW BOOK

This one is not a colouring book as much as an information/ instruction book... containing info and techniques I thought would be handy for beginner level Copic colourers ... Although it's useful for all of us to go back to basics sometimes lol! :D

I made a quick SPEED VIDEO showing all the techniques in the book... this image is shown at the back of the book to summarise the different techniques .. so I guess it's like a SNEAK PEEK!!

It's just another of my "self printed" books - which enables the cost to remain affordable!! :)

The book will be available in the M4M store on the 5th April as a PDF and as a hard copy book at the Penrith Papercrafts show. Once the show is over it will also be available to order in hard copy through the store! :D

some more Easter creations

I just wanted to pop on and share some Easter cards I've made using the Easter Hat parade sketches I drew .. they are available as Digi images HERE :)

New Life

I'm bringing new life back to the M4M blog... hopefully you will see more posts happening here from now on!

We have a stall booked for the Penrith Papercrafts show in April - Whoo hoo!!! We will be clearing out our stamps and remaining marker stock at the show.. AND will have lots of resources available to help inspire and teach colouring :) so pop over for a bargain the first weekend in April!! :D


Today as we're about New Life I thought it would be perfect to have some Easter images!!
I've done a couple of  Sketches, and they are AVAILABLE in the M4M store as Digis... HERE

This is what they look like coloured....

Emily and Oscar had a lot of fun decorating some hats for the Easter Bonnet parade ... Don't you think they look GREAT.... Emily better be careful or her bonnet will end up chicks and all on the ground! Oscar has given Bunny pride of place on top of his hat! What a view for bunny!!

And Grace is celebrating Easter with a tray of Hot Cross Buns... she's remembering Jesus death and resurrection - She would love to share her buns and celebrate with others!!! :D
